A correlative is a word that is paired with another word with which it functions to perform a single function but from which it is separated in the sentence. correlative conjunction is a phrase that joins together two other words, phrases, or clauses.

جیسے ہی وہ اپنی تقریر کیلئے اٹھا ہال تالیوں سے گونج اٹھا |
| We had scarcely reached the school when the bell rang
ہم ابھی سکول پہنچے ہی تھے کہ گھنٹی بج اٹھی |
| He had hardly left his house when it started raining.
ابھی وی گھر سے نکلا ہی تھا کہ بارش شروع ہو گئی |
| Unless you run fast, you will not be able to catch the bus
جب تم تیز نہیں دوڑو گے گاڑی نہیں پکڑ سکوگے |
| He did not leave his house, until it stopped raining
وہ تب تک گھر سے باہر نہیں نکلا جب تک بارش رک نہیں گئی |

جب تک میں نہ آؤں برائے مہربانی آپ میرا انتظار کریں |

جب تک میں یہاں ہوں آپ کو فکر کی ضرورت نہیں |

اگرچہ وہگریب ہے لیکن ایماندار ہے |

جہاں تک مجھے یاد ہے وہ کل یہاں تھا |

مجھے ڈر ہے کہ کہیں بارش نہ ہو جائے |

چھت کی مرمت کر لو تا کہ نہ ٹپکے |

اول آنے کی تو بات ہی کیا وہ تق امتحان میں بھی پاس نہیں ہو سکتا |

وہ فیل ہوجائے گا لیکن نقل نہیں کرے گا |
